Groups were composed as follows: Women, general population (n=5); Women, IVF-ICSI population, intervention group (n=9); Women, IVF-ICSI population, control group (n=9); and Men, IVF-ICSI population (n=4). Overall, baseline characteristics of these women and men, such as age, ethnicity, educational level, and lifestyle were comparable between patients of the four focus group sessions (Table 2).

Barriers and Facilitators Associated With Remote Monitoring Adherence Among Veterans With Pacemakers and Implantable Cardioverter-Defibrillators: Qualitative Cross-Sectional Study

Among 9 veterans who were nonadherent, the barriers identified were not knowing how to transmit (n=4), not recalling being informed about RM (n=4), preferring in-person visits to RM (n=2), forgetting (n=2), privacy concerns (n=1), and difficulty with using a home monitor (n=1). Of these 9 veterans, only 4 reported that they had been contacted by a VA health care professional about not sending a transmission.

All statistical tests were judged for significance based upon a two-tailed alpha level of P Table 1 shows the demographic information and baseline scores on clinical variables for those with data from the entire sample (n=45). Each therapist saw on average 3 patients (CI: 1-5). Participants in the intervention arm (n=30) were an average of 36 years old. Close to 60.00% of the participants were female and 29.03% reported completing college or higher level of education.
