The Impact of Text Messaging on Medication Adherence and Exercise Among Postmyocardial Infarction Patients: Randomized Controlled Pilot Trial

The Impact of Text Messaging on Medication Adherence and Exercise Among Postmyocardial Infarction Patients: Randomized Controlled Pilot Trial

Patients were instructed not to log anything if they missed a medication or did not exercise on a specific day. Missing entries were interpreted as a missed dose. Logbooks were collected monthly. From these logs, absolute medication adherence was calculated as the percentage of total prescribed doses that were actually taken each month. For example, if a patient took 27 out of the 30 prescribed doses for a month, they were deemed to be 90% adherent.

Use of Creative Frameworks in Health Care to Solve Data and Information Problems: Scoping Review

Use of Creative Frameworks in Health Care to Solve Data and Information Problems: Scoping Review

Creative frameworks are applied directly to solve a data or information problem. A data problem was evident at the beginning of the study, and a creative method was used to solve a data or information problem. That means the awareness of the data problem was high, and choosing creative frameworks to solve the problem was a conscious decision. Creative frameworks are applied indirectly to solve a data or information problem.

A Digital Intervention to Improve Skin Self-Examination Among Survivors of Melanoma: Protocol for a Type-1 Hybrid Effectiveness-Implementation Randomized Trial

A Digital Intervention to Improve Skin Self-Examination Among Survivors of Melanoma: Protocol for a Type-1 Hybrid Effectiveness-Implementation Randomized Trial

For survivors of melanoma, National Comprehensive Cancer Network guidelines recommend several actions, including skin examinations by a physician every 3 to 12 months and regular thorough skin self-examination (SSE) [11-13], which entails a deliberate, systematic inspection of all areas of the body using a mirror or the assistance of another person to examine hard-to-view areas [14]. Patient education about SSE by a health care professional is also recommended.

Medication Adherence and Technology-Based Interventions for Adolescents With Chronic Health Conditions: A Few Key Considerations

Medication Adherence and Technology-Based Interventions for Adolescents With Chronic Health Conditions: A Few Key Considerations

Adolescence is a critical time to create routines and health behaviors that optimize disease self-management and preparation for a seamless transition to adult care. The involvement of adolescents with CHCs in their own care can be demanding for both families and health care professionals, although it is an important investment given the short-term and long-term gains [2].

Incidence and Characterization of Post-COVID-19 Symptoms in Hospitalized COVID-19 Survivors to Recognize Syndemic Connotations in India: Single-Center Prospective Observational Cohort Study

Incidence and Characterization of Post-COVID-19 Symptoms in Hospitalized COVID-19 Survivors to Recognize Syndemic Connotations in India: Single-Center Prospective Observational Cohort Study

Presentations of multisystem inflammatory syndrome in children and adults show that COVID-19 negativity is not a hardtop, as there could be postinfectious complications constituting a post-COVID-19 state and its associated health issues [2]. A clear definition of what these health problems are and their magnitude is crucial to prepare an efficient, multidisciplinary service [3].

Understanding the Long Haulers of COVID-19: Mixed Methods Analysis of YouTube Content

“It’s like a...like a viral tornado that goes in you and kind of just messes you up,” Sadi Nagamutu says in between labored breaths [1]. This is how the account of the battle with post–COVID-19 condition (PCC) of Sadi Nagamutu, a fitness instructor aged 44 years, began during a news interview [1]. In the comment section of the video, one user wrote the following: I had to pause the video at 2:20. I broke down in tears because I feel like I’m not alone. I have the same thing.
