Incidence and Characterization of Post-COVID-19 Symptoms in Hospitalized COVID-19 Survivors to Recognize Syndemic Connotations in India: Single-Center Prospective Observational Cohort Study

Incidence and Characterization of Post-COVID-19 Symptoms in Hospitalized COVID-19 Survivors to Recognize Syndemic Connotations in India: Single-Center Prospective Observational Cohort Study

Presentations of multisystem inflammatory syndrome in children and adults show that COVID-19 negativity is not a hardtop, as there could be postinfectious complications constituting a post-COVID-19 state and its associated health issues [2]. A clear definition of what these health problems are and their magnitude is crucial to prepare an efficient, multidisciplinary service [3].

Improving How Caregivers of People Living With Dementia Are Identified in the Electronic Health Record: Qualitative Study and Exploratory Chart Review

Improving How Caregivers of People Living With Dementia Are Identified in the Electronic Health Record: Qualitative Study and Exploratory Chart Review

Qualitative methods are ideal for this purpose, as they can provide a deep understanding of caregivers’ lived experiences and of caregiver and staff interactions with the EHR and generate hypotheses about how health systems can better use the EHR as a tool to support caregivers. This analysis was done as part of a study designed to develop a tool to identify caregivers of people living with dementia through the EHR for pragmatic trials related to medication management.

Bio-Experiential Technology to Support Persons With Dementia and Care Partners at Home (TEND): Protocol for an Intervention Development Study

More than 11 million Americans are the informal caregivers for a person with dementia [5]. Informal caregivers (ie, someone who provides care for a person with dementia not paid through an agency, often a family member or friend) serve a critical role in providing care for persons living with dementia.

Rethinking the Difficult Patient: Formative Qualitative Study Using Participatory Theater to Improve Physician-Patient Communication in Rheumatology

The research team collaborated with the members of the organization to develop a script for the initial scenario that depicted a physician-patient conflict and reflected a typical experience of living with SLE (eg, patients who were feeling that they were not being heard and physician were ignoring patient concerns). The actors playing the physician and patient had expertise in improvisation, which allowed for dynamic interaction with audience members.

Dissemination and Effectiveness of the Peer Marketing and Messaging of a Web-Assisted Tobacco Intervention: Protocol for a Hybrid Effectiveness Trial

Dissemination and Effectiveness of the Peer Marketing and Messaging of a Web-Assisted Tobacco Intervention: Protocol for a Hybrid Effectiveness Trial

Our comparison standard CTHC is a rule-based (if-then-else) system that tailors messages based on a smoker’s readiness to quit. For example, when a smoker logs on to Decide2 Quit and indicates their readiness as “not ready to quit,” a message from those categorized for “not ready to quit” smokers will be picked at random and sent to the smoker. Similarly, if the smoker indicates their readiness as “set a quit date,” a message categorized for “set a quit date” smokers will be sent to the smoker.
