A Novel Approach to Characterize State-level Food Environment and Predict Obesity Rate Using Social Media Data: Correlational Study

Food access dimensions can be conceptualized using the concept of access proposed by Penchansky and Thomas [26]. The concept of access uses 5 dimensions to conceptualize the local food environment, namely availability, accessibility, affordability, acceptability, and accommodation [9,26]. Availability refers to the relationship between the number and type of food suppliers available to customers.
