Acceptability, Validity, and Engagement With a Mobile App for Frequent, Continuous Multiyear Assessment of Youth Health Behaviors (mNCANDA): Mixed Methods Study

Acceptability, Validity, and Engagement With a Mobile App for Frequent, Continuous Multiyear Assessment of Youth Health Behaviors (mNCANDA): Mixed Methods Study

The strongest age parameter in the GEE models was for the interaction between the assessment number and the 18-to-20-year-old age class (older than 20 years was the reference group; b=−.004; SE 0.003). Mean response rates over time by age class. Assessment number is the sequential index assigned to each participants' series of scheduled assessments.

Clinical Term Normalization Using Learned Edit Patterns and Subconcept Matching: System Development and Evaluation

Clinical Term Normalization Using Learned Edit Patterns and Subconcept Matching: System Development and Evaluation

An efficient algorithm to generate edit patterns using the method described above is given in a study by Kate [9]. We point out that the method to obtain edit patterns described earlier will always also generate a reverse pattern for each pattern. For example, if it generates a pattern to insert “s” in the end, then it will also generate a pattern to delete “s” in the end.

Examining Emailed Feedback as Boosters After a College Drinking Intervention Among Fraternities and Sororities: Rationale and Protocol for a Remote Controlled Trial (Project Greek)

Monte Carlo simulation methods indicated that for the expected effect size (b=6.57; β=.537) and expected 24% attrition, total sample size of 180 students should yield power=0.82 to detect differences in the slope estimate across study conditions. The IRB approval was obtained in November 2021, with the amendment to switch data collection sites approved in February 2022. Approval was obtained from the research committee of the National Panhellenic conference in January 2022.

Effectiveness of a Combined Web-Based and Ecological Momentary Intervention for Incoming First-Year University Students: Protocol for a 3-Arm Randomized Controlled Trial

The number of negative alcohol-related consequences [42] experienced will be assessed by the Brief Young Adult Alcohol Consequences Questionnaire (B-YAACQ). The B-YAACQ is composed of a list of 24 alcohol consequences, and participants simply answer yes or no as to whether they have experienced each consequence in the past 3 months. The B-YAACQ will be administered at baseline and after semesters 1 and 2 (~4 and ~8 months).
