Walking as a Contributor to Physical Activity in Healthy Older Adults: 2 Week Longitudinal Study Using Accelerometry and the Doubly Labeled Water Method

Walking as a Contributor to Physical Activity in Healthy Older Adults: 2 Week Longitudinal Study Using Accelerometry and the Doubly Labeled Water Method

The Pearson correlation coefficient (r) was used to describe the association between variables. A linear regression was used to model the relation between activity counts and PAL. The residuals of the model were studied to identify confounding factors. The best predictors of PAL among nonwalking counts, short walk counts, and long walk counts were selected using a stepwise multilinear regression.

Google Trends Assessment of Keywords Related to Smoking and Smoking Cessation During the COVID-19 Pandemic in 4 European Countries: Retrospective Analysis

R programming language (R Core Team) was used to apply the Fle XScan package [49]. The settings for the algorithm were adapted from Tabuchi et al [27] and are (1) the prespecified significance level for the restriction α1=.2, (2) the significance level of the test α=.05, (3) replications of the Monte Carlo hypothesis testing 999, (4) maximum length of a cluster 17 weeks, and (5) minimum length of a cluster 2 weeks.

Digital Pain Mapping and Tracking in Patients With Chronic Pain: Longitudinal Study

Digital Pain Mapping and Tracking in Patients With Chronic Pain: Longitudinal Study

Usual and current pain intensities were associated with the total extent (r=0.23 and r=0.25, respectively; R2=3%; P Regular users (n=35; mean age 48.7, SD 11.2 years) and nonregular users (n=30; mean age 55.8, SD 15.3 years) differed in age (P HUX questionnaires were completed by 94% (33/35) of the regular and 73% (22/30) of the nonregular users. The total mean SUS score was 70, giving it a marginal usability score [53] with no difference between regular and nonregular users (P=.45).

Remote Delivery of the Cuidándome Telehealth Intervention for Self-Management of Depression and Anxiety Among Latina Immigrant Women: Randomized Controlled Trial

We assessed social problem–solving styles using the Social Problem-Solving Inventory-Revised (SPSI-R) [20]. The items assess attitude toward challenges as well as one’s tendencies and approach for managing stressors in everyday life. Items present different styles of thinking and reactions to scenarios to which participants report how accurately the statement reflects their attitudes or behaviors to challenges (0=not at all true of me to 4=extremely true of me).
