Human Papillomavirus and Oropharyngeal Cancer Among Indigenous Australians: Protocol for a Prevalence Study of Oral-Related Human Papillomavirus and Cost-Effectiveness of Prevention

Human Papillomavirus and Oropharyngeal Cancer Among Indigenous Australians: Protocol for a Prevalence Study of Oral-Related Human Papillomavirus and Cost-Effectiveness of Prevention

The cost-effectiveness evaluations that supported HPV vaccination for boys have never been published, although Smith and colleagues [47] evaluated the herd immunity benefits and incremental impact of male vaccinations on cancer, whereas Simms et al [48] evaluated whether cervical screening would remain cost-effective in women offered the next generation nonavalent HPV vaccine in 4 developed countries.

Working Memory Training for Children Using the Adaptive, Self-Select, and Stepwise Approaches to Setting the Difficulty Level of Training Activities: Protocol for a Randomized Controlled Trial

Working Memory Training for Children Using the Adaptive, Self-Select, and Stepwise Approaches to Setting the Difficulty Level of Training Activities: Protocol for a Randomized Controlled Trial

The experimental working memory transfer tests delivered on an i Pad: (A) backward span digits, (B) backward span letters, (C) following instructions objects, (D) following instructions letters, (E) 2-back objects. (A) to (D) depict each test at a span level of 2. ms = milliseconds, ISI = Interstimulus Interval. An experimental n-back test measured intermediate transfer (Figure 3 E).

Ayurvedic Management of Presbycusis (Project TOPMAC): Protocol for an Exploratory Randomized Controlled Trial

Ayurvedic Management of Presbycusis (Project TOPMAC): Protocol for an Exploratory Randomized Controlled Trial

The administration of the water extract from Ashwagandha (100 mg/kg/d) with drinking water for 8 months has shown to be safe and showed no toxicity in rats [21]. Ashwagandha may operate as a gamma-aminobutyric acid mimetic, cholinomimetic, and agonist for α-7 nicotinic receptors for cognitive function protection [22]. However, no clinical trials or documented data are available on the efficacy of these drugs for presbycusis treatment, despite being widely used in clinics.
