Comm Care also manages and sends intervention and assessment text messages as part of the automated text-messaging and monitoring intervention (AMM).

Further details on study measures may be found in Comulada et al [32] and Swendeman et al [53]. Following the baseline assessment, participants were assigned Samsung Vibrant smartphones running on the Android operating system version 2.2 or higher. For 6 months, participants received daily time-based prompts on their mobile phones to complete EMA 3 times daily and an end-of-day assessment (daily diary) through a mobile app.
