Using Mobile Technology to Provide Personalized Reminiscence for People Living With Dementia and Their Carers: Appraisal of Outcomes From a Quasi-Experimental Study

The study received ethical approval (REC Ref 16/NI/0002) in line with regional and National Health Service Trust research governance. The primary outcome measure was mutuality, defined as the positive quality of the relationship between the carer and the care recipient [26]. The Mutuality scale consists of 15 items. A sample item includes “How attached are you to him or her?” A 5-point scale is used, ranging from 0 (not at all) to 4 (a great deal).
