Investigating Users’ Attitudes Toward Automated Smartwatch Cardiac Arrest Detection: Cross-Sectional Survey Study

Investigating Users’ Attitudes Toward Automated Smartwatch Cardiac Arrest Detection: Cross-Sectional Survey Study

An a priori sample size analysis revealed that a minimum sample size of 385 participants would be needed to attain a margin of error of no more than 5% at a 95% confidence level. To attain an even higher precision while still allowing for dropouts and subgroup analyses, we targeted approximately 1000 participants per user group. The surveys were developed by WMFvd B and PS in collaboration with the research experts from Markteffect and the NPF.
