Mobile App Delivery of the EORTC QLQ-C30 Questionnaire to Assess Health-Related Quality of Life in Oncological Patients: Usability Study

The European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer (EORTC) developed a wide range of standardized and validated questionnaires to assess HRQo L in oncological patients. In this study we used the EORTC Quality of Life Questionnaire-Core 30 (QLQ-C30) [8], which is the core questionnaire that can be extended by cancer-specific modules. In earlier series, we asked HCPs [9] and patients [10] about their attitudes regarding telemedicine and mobile apps in oncology.

Usability of Electronic Patient-Reported Outcome Measures for Older Patients With Cancer: Secondary Analysis of Data from an Observational Single Center Study

Usability of Electronic Patient-Reported Outcome Measures for Older Patients With Cancer: Secondary Analysis of Data from an Observational Single Center Study

While traditionally PROs were collected with paper-pencil questionnaires, technological advances in the last decades have facilitated the use of electronic PRO assessments (e PROs). Electronic data assessment and processing has several benefits. In general, it leads to a higher data quality than paper-pencil assessments [20,21] and allows automatic scoring and graphical representation in real time [22,23].

Exploring the Potential of an Eye Tissue Donor Reporting App in Enhancing the Procurement of Corneal Donors: Mixed Methods Observational Study

Data from the questionnaires were then collected and analyzed, with results presented as the number and percentage of people providing a particular response for qualitative variables, and the mean and SD for quantitative variables. The number of potential and final tissue donors was determined in the application from the tissue bank employee panel, to which notifications from the application were sent.
