(Toronto, ON, June 19, 2025) JMIR Publications is pleased to announce that JMIR mHealth and uHealth has received a Journal Impact Factor of 6.2, as published in Journal Citation Reports 2025 from Clarivate. This represents an increase over last year. JMIR mHealth and uHealth ranks in the first quartile (Q1) of both the “Health Care Science & Services” (ranked #10 of 185, 94th percentile) and “Medical Informatics” (ranked #7 of 48) categories.
JMIR mHealth and uHealth is also highly ranked in other journal ranking systems this year:
- Google Scholar ranks the journal in the top 5 of the Medical Informatics category (a 5-year average of citation data)
- CiteScore 2024 of 11.6, ranking Q1 (#13 of 153, 91st percentile) in the Health Informatics discipline (a 4-year average of citations, based on Elsevier Scopus data)
This significant achievement highlights the sustained influence and growing importance of research focusing on health and biomedical applications in mobile and tablet computing, pervasive and ubiquitous computing, wearable computing and domotics.
