Differences between patients agreeing to use a wearable compared to those declining were assessed by the Mann-Whitney U test or Student’s t-test.
To assess wear-time patterns based on the data returned from the activity tracker, we used the hourly level data, which were summed up on a weekly level. Each patient’s first week of recording was assigned as their baseline week.

The methods include, but are not limited to, t tests for independent groups, matched t tests for dependent groups, repeated measure ANOVAs, and multilevel regression models. For that, we will analyze the mean scores of the stigma surveys at T1 and T2, with a focus on the impact of the SAS video intervention on the score outcomes. All analyses will be conducted in R.

Results of t tests (2-tailed) and χ2 tests showed no significant differences in the demographics and outcomes between the chatbot and control groups and between those who received and did not receive notifications. Table 1 summarizes the demographic characteristics of the participants.
