Insights Into How mHealth Applications Could Be Introduced Into Standard Hypertension Care in Germany: Qualitative Study With German Cardiologists and General Practitioners

Furthermore, investigating the acceptance of these technologies provides insights into the potential challenges that medical staff may face, enabling the design of user-friendly m Health apps that can seamlessly integrate into clinical practice. This study focused on investigating the information needs and acceptability of m Health apps for the prevention of hypertension by health care providers.

Data Parameters From Participatory Surveillance Systems in Human, Animal, and Environmental Health From Around the Globe: Descriptive Analysis

Data Parameters From Participatory Surveillance Systems in Human, Animal, and Environmental Health From Around the Globe: Descriptive Analysis

SMART for Health includes parameters to record the health of free-ranging livestock that may be present in protected natural habitats. Most of these systems were developed with the goal of syndromic wildlife disease surveillance except for 2 systems— one that was designed to collect data on geographic distribution and abundance of wild mammalian species and another that focuses on early detection of invasive wildlife species [13].

Estimation of Static Lung Volumes and Capacities From Spirometry Using Machine Learning: Algorithm Development and Validation

However, these methods, while precise, may not always be readily accessible, cost-effective, or suitable for routine clinical practice outside a specialized pulmonary function laboratory. Advancements in artificial intelligence (AI) techniques have introduced new avenues in health care, offering the potential to derive comprehensive insights from existing data, including patterns not easily recognizable through human interpretation or standard statistical modeling.

Benefits and Barriers to mHealth in Hypertension Care: Qualitative Study With German Health Care Professionals

Benefits and Barriers to mHealth in Hypertension Care: Qualitative Study With German Health Care Professionals

This lack of compensation may cause some HCPs to be hesitant to use digital tools, as it may entail additional tasks without financial compensation. Although m Health apps offer many benefits, they may not be suitable for all patients. Older people or those with limited digital capabilities may have difficulty using digital applications. In addition, some patients, especially those with hypertension, may overmeasure their blood pressure, which can negatively impact their blood pressure levels.

Codevelopment of an mHealth App With Health Care Providers, Digital Health Experts, Community Partners, and Families for Childhood Obesity Management: Protocol for a Co-Design Process

A preliminary mock-up app was developed and shared in focus group discussions for feedback with community stakeholders (HPB and Sport Singapore) in May 2023, followed by the multidisciplinary team in July 2023. Discussions were held with community stakeholders between June 2023 and December 2023 to integrate existing community resources and programs into the m Health app.

Net Reproduction Number as a Real-Time Metric of Population Reproducibility

Net Reproduction Number as a Real-Time Metric of Population Reproducibility

The ITS may not fully capture the nonlinear trends after 2015. We did not consider the qualitative characteristics of each policy. The Rt can be used as a useful and timely metric of population reproducibility, particularly in the presence of sex-ratio imbalance at birth. Furthermore, the Rt threshold of 1 may be easier for public interpretation compared to the TFR, as the public became familiar with the Rt parameter during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Enhancing Older Adults’ Lives Through Positive Aging Perception, Quality-of-Life Enhancement, and Social Support to Drive Acceptance and Readiness Toward Indoor Assistive Technology: Cross-Sectional Study

Enhancing Older Adults’ Lives Through Positive Aging Perception, Quality-of-Life Enhancement, and Social Support to Drive Acceptance and Readiness Toward Indoor Assistive Technology: Cross-Sectional Study

This counterintuitive finding, if significant, may indicate that excessive reliance on social support could undermine individuals’ confidence in using technology independently or heighten concerns about privacy and security. Such dynamics, which contrast past observations [45-48], warrant further investigation to understand the complex role of social support in technology adoption among older adults.
