Reliable Web-Based Auditory Cognitive Testing: Observational Study

Au M was tested using nonspeech stimuli as previously described (Figure 2; Lad et al [19]). A 1-second tone or amplitude-modulated white noise stimulus was presented to a participant, after which they were asked to “find” the sound on a horizontal scale on a computer screen. Participants had to move a mouse and click on the line to produce a sound at that location. They could make as many clicks as they wanted with no set time limit.
