Large Language Model Applications for Health Information Extraction in Oncology: Scoping Review
We queried OVID Medline on June 2, 2024, using oncology (“neoplasms,” “cancer,” “onco,” “tumor”) and generative LLM (“natural language processing,” “artificial intelligence,” “generative,” “large language model”) keywords in consultation with a librarian. Non-English articles, nonprimary research articles, articles published before 2000, and articles published in nonpeer-reviewed settings were excluded. The full search strategy is detailed in Multimedia Appendix 1.

Patterns of Internet Use in People Diagnosed With Severe Mental Illness: Qualitative Interview Study
Between June 2021 and October 2021, qualitative interviews were undertaken via telephone to explore internet use and abilities for adults who have SMI.
A purposive sample was drawn from the wider Optimising Wellbeing During Self-Isolation (OWLS) study [13]. The OWLS study was a series of 5 surveys tracking the health and well-being of people with SMI during the COVID-19 pandemic. In the initial OWLS study, we asked people whether they would consent to taking part in a qualitative study.

The SIH, which had 198 staffed beds, was designated as a COVID-19–only hospital by the State of New York from March 28, 2020, to June 5, 2020. A large network hospital (LNH) with 11 campuses and greater resources was used as a point of comparison. Both institutions are in New York City (NYC), and their experiences during the same period were compared.
