A compensation of RMB 50 Yuan (US $6.91) was given after each assessment for each participant. The collected information was kept confidential and only used for research purposes.
We evaluated 295 individuals for eligibility, excluding 83 individuals who did not meet the inclusion criteria and 120 individuals who declined to participate. This resulted in 92 participants being randomly assigned to either the intervention group (n=46) or the control group (n=46).
