Mental Health Providers’ Challenges and Solutions in Prescribing Over Telemedicine: Content Analysis of Semistructured Interviews

Mental Health Providers’ Challenges and Solutions in Prescribing Over Telemedicine: Content Analysis of Semistructured Interviews

So in general, if someone is like in a manic state, if they’re psychotic, if they’re actively suicidal, like suicidal with a plan intending to act on it, that sort of stuff, I won’t see them through telehealth or if I have a patient who starts to experience those things, I will refer them for a higher level of care and we’ll be pretty insistent on it. Long-Term Experiences of Health Care Providers Using Iris Scanning as an Identification Tool in a Vaccine Trial in the Democratic Republic of the Congo: Qualitative Study

However, experience with iris scanning as a method of identity verification in clinical trials remains limited. Recently, the implementation of the iris scan tool demonstrated high precision and strong acceptance among health care providers and frontline worker participants (Multimedia Appendix 1), who were interviewed both before and at enrollment in an Ebola vaccine trial (hereafter referred to as the “EBL2007 vaccine trial”) conducted in a remote area of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) [4].

Simulation of Contraceptive Access for Adolescents and Young Adults Using a Pharmacist-Staffed e-Platform: Development, Usability, and Pilot Testing Study

However, sexually active AYA, aged 15-24 years, were the most likely age group to experience unintended pregnancies in the United States [2,4]. Despite evidence showing the value of access to sex education and contraceptive services in reducing pregnancy rates among AYA, laws restricting access to both are increasingly being introduced and passed in US state legislatures.

Feasibility of a Cinematic–Virtual Reality Program Educating Health Professional Students About the Complexity of Geriatric Care: Pilot Pre-Post Study

Despite training, standardized patients may show individual differences that can lead to variations in role portrayal, impacting the consistency of the simulated learning experience [30]. Unlike manikins, advanced patient simulators, and standardized patients, a task trainer is a specific device designed to help train health professional students on how to perform specific procedures, such as inserting an intravenous line or performing a lumbar puncture.
