While there is a scoping review summarizing 3 main types of nurse-led palliative care models in resource-limited regions, it has not systematically explored the contextual factors to implement nurse-delivered, telehealth, home-based palliative care [18]. In conclusion, the roles of nurses in delivering telehealth home-based palliative care and the facilitators and barriers of nurse-delivered, telehealth, home-based palliative care remain unclear.

Nurses experiencing burnout are five times more likely to delay care (eg, documentation and patient discharge) than nurses without burnout, leading to long patient wait times [2]. Incomplete nursing documentation threatens patient care and safety [3].

Both moderators involved are experienced qualitative researchers, and one moderator (SW) is a registered nurse. FGs are a special type of group interview in which a moderator leads a discussion focused on a specific topic [25]. FGs are useful for obtaining information about beliefs, attitudes, thoughts, and perceptions about a particular topic from several people in a short period of time. The interaction of the participants within the group plays an important role in the generation of data [26].

Before commencing the training, each participating nurse was provided with an informed consent form outlining the project training process and duration. The study was initiated after the nurses signed the consent form voluntarily. A total of 90 eligible nurses participated in this study and were randomly divided into control and intervention groups, with 45 (50%) nurses in each group.
