Distributed Statistical Analyses: A Scoping Review and Examples of Operational Frameworks Adapted to Health Analytics

Distributed Statistical Analyses: A Scoping Review and Examples of Operational Frameworks Adapted to Health Analytics

Scoping reviews are well suited to efficiently map key concepts within a research area [6]. They are widely acknowledged for their ability to clarify working definitions and conceptual boundaries in a specific topic or field [7], facilitating a shared understanding among researchers regarding the status of the research area. These considerations make the scoping review methodology well designed to achieve objective 1.

Electronic Health Record Data Quality and Performance Assessments: Scoping Review

The purpose of this scoping review was to combine the 3 to formulate a more clear road map for evaluating EHR datasets for medical research and practice. This scoping literature review was conducted according to the 2018 PRISMA-Sc R (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses extension for Scoping Reviews), whose checklist is shown in Checklist 1 [23]. A search was performed for all full-text research articles published in English in Pub Med from inception to May 7, 2023.

Parental Patterns of Alcohol Consumption During the COVID-19 Pandemic: Scoping Review

Parental Patterns of Alcohol Consumption During the COVID-19 Pandemic: Scoping Review

The purpose of this scoping review was to investigate broad patterns of parental alcohol consumption during the COVID-19 pandemic, examining the relative changes in the frequency and quantity of alcohol use compared to nonparent adults, prepandemic levels of consumption, or both. In addition to physical health harms related to excessive alcohol consumption [16], parents who consume problematic amounts of alcohol are more likely to have worse mental health and lower emotional availability to children [13].
