Postimplementation Evaluation in Assisted Living Facilities of an eHealth Medical Device Developed to Predict and Avoid Unplanned Hospitalizations: Pragmatic Trial

Postimplementation Evaluation in Assisted Living Facilities of an eHealth Medical Device Developed to Predict and Avoid Unplanned Hospitalizations: Pragmatic Trial

They were invited to fill out an e PROM-type questionnaire after home visits on a weekly basis via the smartphone app. The list of the 23 e PROMs recorded by the NAs is reported in Multimedia Appendix 2. Regular training was provided on the use of the app.

Predictive Criterion Validity of the Parsley Symptom Index Against the Patient-Reported Outcomes Measurement Information System-10 in a Chronic Disease Cohort: Retrospective Cohort Study

Predictive Criterion Validity of the Parsley Symptom Index Against the Patient-Reported Outcomes Measurement Information System-10 in a Chronic Disease Cohort: Retrospective Cohort Study

In response to a need for a validated, digital-first electronic patient-reported outcome measure (e PROM), Parsley Health—a subscription-based, holistic medical practice—designed the Parsley Symptom Index (PSI) [21]. To our knowledge, the PSI is the only multi-item e PROM designed for and within a telehealth environment with internal validity.

Assessing Patient-Reported Outcomes in Routine Cancer Clinical Care Using Electronic Administration and Telehealth Technologies: Realist Synthesis of Potential Mechanisms for Improving Health Outcomes

Assessing Patient-Reported Outcomes in Routine Cancer Clinical Care Using Electronic Administration and Telehealth Technologies: Realist Synthesis of Potential Mechanisms for Improving Health Outcomes

The key components of e PROM interventions and concepts were drawn from the literature to construct the e PROM framework. Using the conceptual framework, we identified distinct features of an e PROM intervention that enable it to function as an e Health intervention. The premise was that identifying these elements would enable theory mining to focus on the aspects of e PROM interventions that differentiate them from traditional non-e PROM and e PROM interventions that do not function as e Health interventions.

Validation of a Mobile Version of the American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons Standardized Shoulder Assessment Form: An Observational Randomized Crossover Trial

Validation of a Mobile Version of the American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons Standardized Shoulder Assessment Form: An Observational Randomized Crossover Trial

Compared to the paper version of PROM, e PROM has many advantages. The objective of this study was to confirm the reliability of a mobile version of the ASES questionnaire and its acceptability among patients. The results of this study showed that there is a strong correlation in the ASES score between the mobile and paper versions. The high ICC of 0.979 indicates that the mobile and paper versions of the ASES questionnaire have excellent consistency.

Validation of the Electronic Version of the International Index of Erectile Function (IIEF-5 and IIEF-15): A Crossover Study

Validation of the Electronic Version of the International Index of Erectile Function (IIEF-5 and IIEF-15): A Crossover Study

The extent of e PROM testing depends on the changes made during the PROM to e PROM transformation. Layout changes, for example, splitting the format into single questions, can be classified as a moderate level of modification [8]. For moderate-level modifications, a formal equivalence assessment of the electronic measure is advised, to show no significant difference in paper and electronic PROM scoring [8].
