Accelerometry-Assessed Physical Activity and Circadian Rhythm to Detect Clinical Disability Status in Multiple Sclerosis: Cross-Sectional Study

Accelerometry metrics were derived from accelerometry data collected with the GT9 X Link Acti Graph using a built-in triaxial accelerometer [17]. All participants were instructed to wear the Acti Graph device on the wrist of their nondominant hand for 24 hours a day over a duration of 2 weeks. Accelerometers were set to capture 3 D acceleration at 30 Hz with the acceleration range of ±8 G. The raw acceleration data (.gt3x) were downloaded from the device using Acti Life v6.134 Lite Edition.

Objectively Measured Physical Activity Levels and Associated Factors in Older US Women During the COVID-19 Pandemic: Cross-sectional Study

Acti Graph GT9 X Link (Acti Graph LLC., Pensacola, FL, USA) was used to measure PA levels among participants. It is a small (3.5 × 3.5 × 1 cm), lightweight (14 g) wrist-worn device and contains a triaxial accelerometer with a dynamic range of ±8 gravitational units (g). Participants were required to wear it on the nondominant wrist for 7 consecutive days in free-living conditions. They were instructed to remove it only during sleeping, showering or swimming, and medical imaging tests.
