Participants must have first-hand experience (design, implementation, use, or maintenance) with COVID-19 digital surveillance systems. There will be no restrictions on the level of expertise or years of experience in their field of work.
The panel will consist of approximately 40 participants (Textbox 1).
Participants will be excluded if they lack the necessary expertise or are unable to make a commitment to being available for the duration of Delphi study rounds.

Community-based management, the model by which local communities are responsible for the repair and maintenance of their pumps, became the default management model for rural water supply in the late 1970s, with mixed success [19-24], and an estimated one in four handpumps in sub-Saharan Africa are out of action today [25].

Items within the Maintenance-Setting dimension were only addressed by 3 interventions, including potential long-term adaptations (eg, implementing an educational app component) [56,72,74]. The sustainability of the program in the RE-AIM context was not discussed at all.
The overall PRECIS-2 score across all interventions was 2.93/5 (SD 0.54).

Despite this evidence, preventative maintenance is rarely conducted. This can be attributed to unfavorable health care policies; lack of user training, knowledge, and capability; and lack of tools for repair, among several other reasons. Researchers have developed resources such as training programs and maintenance checklists that include consensus-based, generic maintenance schedules for inspection and cleaning of wheelchair parts to support maintenance practices [17].

However, there are few studies examining maintenance of longer-term physical activity behavior beyond the intervention period [9] and those that do suggest that physical activity declines over time [10-12]. An improved understanding of maintenance behaviors is needed to optimize interventions to sustain increases in physical activity over the long term.

As of August 1, 2021, we have not yet identified other studies that have been explored the maintenance of the effect after a texting-based intervention was withdrawn in people with schizophrenia. Although we identified no similar studies that focused on the same participants as ours, studies of behavioral interventions using mobile texting in other populations suggested that the program effects lasted 8 to 12 weeks after the termination of texting [17].

The trial consisted of a 3-week run-in period, a 3-month intervention period, and a 6-month maintenance period. The control group was asked to use an Omron Active Style Pro HJA-350 IT (Omron Healthcare) accelerometer to record and store physical activity every day for the entire 9-month study period but did not receive any physical activity intervention.

The worldwide pandemic of physical inactivity [1] requires innovative approaches to increasing population physical activity levels with a view to achieving long-term maintenance [2]. Physical activity interventions that can be delivered through less costly channels (eg, internet, telephone, or post) than those requiring direct contact, in the interest of reaching as many participants as possible, are needed [3].

A large body of evidence on the maintenance of weight loss and/or behavior change following the end of initial interventions resoundingly shows a relapse effect, characterized by weight regain and/or behavioral decline back toward baseline levels [1-3].
