To further support PCC engagement in women with a VHS, we have designed an m Health app that especially fits their needs and preferences [24]: the app-based nudge Pregnant Faster. A nudge is an intervention that stimulates making beneficial choices by increasing the attractiveness and easiness of healthy behavior [25]. An in-depth explanation of nudge theory and its application in health policy can be found in the study by Murayama et al [26].

The Framing Effect of Digital Textual Messages on Uptake Rates of Medical Checkups: Field Study
Over the past 3 decades, behavioral insights have been used to nudge individuals and increase their compliance rates with recommendations of their national health care authorities. One common tool used in this line of research is message framing, that is, the content of textual messages sent out by health care providers.

In our study, we will be examining the effectiveness of nudge theory and behavioral prompts in two ad libitum, self-guided digital behavior change courses.
Nudge theory, which was popularized in the 2008 book Nudge: Improving Decisions About Health, Wealth, and Happiness [24], leverages indirect, positive suggestions to influence decision-making and behavior.
There is a paucity of quality research that analyzes the use of nudges in digital health.

Very few studies have tested the effect of delivering nudge strategies via web-based food ordering systems. In a cluster RCT conducted with 4th-7th grade students from a US school, nudge strategies delivered via a web-based ordering system led to a higher selection of fruit, vegetables, or low-fat milk in lunch orders compared with controls receiving no nudge [31]. However, the study was conducted in a single school with only a 2-week follow-up period.

On 36 occasions, a haptic nudge (Nudge) to move the affected UL was provided just before the observation period, and on the other 36 occasions, no haptic nudge was given (No Nudge). The timing of the haptic nudge was randomized. Approval for this study was obtained from the New Zealand Health and Disability Ethics Committee (16/NTA/74).
All people with stroke admitted to the rehabilitation service from July 2018 through December 2018 were considered for inclusion in this study.
